卓越原则 Program seeks to provide information to veteran and military students at the beginning of their educational journey. Rowan-Cabarrus is proud to comply with the key components as we welcome our Nation’s service men and women.

| Total cost of education including programs veterans may qualify for, all avenues of financial assistance 也。 as tuition and fees, and federal educational benefits that are available. Students must be aware of the estimated student loan debt upon graduation. | Prospective students may access Rowan-Cabarrus’ financial aid worksheet that includes an estimated cost of attendance via the 净价计算器. Students are encouraged to file the Application for 联邦学生援助(FAFSA) and list Rowan-Cabarrus (school code-005754) as the college choice for a complete picture of federal aid available. |
| The College should have a process in place to alert students of eligibility for veteran benefits before arranging for private student loans. | Students can meet with the Rowan-Cabarrus School Certifying Official to determine eligibility for veteran benefits. These are not included on the financial aid worksheet because the amount cannot be determined until the student applies through the U.S. Department of 退伍军人事务部 and receives a certificate of eligibility. |
| End all aggressive recruiting tactics and misrepresenting incentives or compensations. | Rowan-Cabarrus is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and adheres to the high standard of recruiting practices. We are committed to treating students ethically, respectfully, and professionally. Rowan-Cabarrus does not engage in high-pressure recruitment, nor do we provide additional compensation for the recruitment of military-connected families. Always confer with your service education office before engaging in any voluntary education activity. |
| Obtain the approval of accrediting institutions for new course and program offerings. | Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees, 文凭, 和证书. | Allow service members and reservists to be readmitted to a program if they are temporarily unable to attend based on service requirements. | Any student who is in the United States Armed Forces who has received temporary or permanent reassignment because of military operations, or any student who is a National Guard service member placed into State active-duty status during an academic term, will be granted an excused absence for the period the student is on active duty. | Agree to an institutional refund policy that aligns with the Department of Education Act of 1965. Specifically, the plan must fit Title IV requirements in section 484B. | 当学生退学时, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of TA funds originally awarded. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will return any unearned TA funds on a prorate basis through the 60% portion of the period for which the funds were awarded. These funds are returned to the government, not the student. When a student stops attending due to military service obligation, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will work with the Service member to identify solutions that will not result in a student debt for the returned portion. |
| Provides a point of contact for academic and financial advising for their time on campus 也。 as assists with job services upon completion. | The Rowan-Cabarrus School Certifying Official(s) are the point of contact for veteran students and their dependents.
